We had 90 kindergarten students visit along with family and friends from near and far! There was an excellent turn out of animals and the fancy dress parade was a sight to behold! Congratulations to all of the ribbon winners and we wish you all the best at group day at the Hautapu Rugby grounds tomorrow!

Ride for Life

One of the great things about being on State Highway One is that interesting people come by every day! Last year we all got to meet Chris Cairns on his epic walk from Auckland to Canterbury to raise awareness about level crossing safety. This week Darren (Greeny) Greenwood rode past on his ‘Ride for Life” to raise money for the Cancer Society. Greeny is riding from Cambridge to Wanaka and back and we made a banner to cheer him on as he set off on his epic journey. Check out Greeny’s progress at www.rideforlife.co.nz

Welcome Back

Our junior block today,

Our junior block today,

It is great to welcome everyone back to what promises to be an exciting and fun filled fourth term. We are very pleased that the junior block has been refurbished over the holidays and now features new carpet, vinyl, wall linings, paint and plumbing! This has provided fantastic learning spaces for our students. It is interesting to note that we have records of the block being refurbished in the 1950′s and it is still going strong. How many children have learned to read and write within this fine old building?
