Last night marked the official end of our 125th combined school jubilee celebrations. We held our 22nd and final meeting bringing to a close almost 2 years of planning and hard work by our dedicated and hard working committee. The meeting was a relaxed affair with refreshments and thank you’s before the books were signed off and closed. We are pleased to report that the jubilee closed with the accounts in the black and the committee was able to donate the left over funds back to Karapiro and Whitehall Schools. We would like to thank EVERYONE involved in this highly successful event and especially our jubilee chairman Kevin Roigard, secretary Deb Robinson, treasurer Barbara Smythe and technical whizz / historian Michael Jeans. The jubilee website is still live at http://www.kwtjubilee.co.nz/ and is a place where you can still order photos. We all look forward to 2035!
See you in 25 years!
