Nikki is our Deputy Principal and teaches Room 1, our senior class, she also leads mathematics across the schoool and has responsibility for the library.

Nikki joined Karapiro School from teaching the digital learning class at Cambridge Middle School. Her classroom is an amazing place to be with highly motivated learners immersed in exciting learning programmes. Nikki uses ICT effectively to ensure that learning doesn’t stop at the classroom walls, her class take virtual field trips via digital communication and share regularly with class penpals in Hamilton.

Nikki has a passion for mathematics and is leading our maths programme which is producing fantastic results. She enjoys sport and runs  a challenging and enjoyable PE and outdoor education programme which includes kayaking, sailing and skiing. Learners in Room 1 complete many exciting and in-depth activities and leave well prepared for ongoing educational success.
