Congratulations to the Karapiro parents and friends’ team who competed so well at last weekend’s Karapiro Ironman. The team of  Mike Davey (2000m swim), Don Ritchie (90 km bike) and Caroline Webbon (21 km run) completed the race in a combined time of 5 hours and 17 minutes to win their age category! Don and Caroline both achieved personal best times and the team raised over $400 for our school through sponsorship. What an excellent result all round!

Two of our students, Cam and Mac, also competed very well in the kid’s duathalon held at the same time, with Cam finishing 4th overall and Mac 15th. What a great effort boys!
