Here at Karapiro School we take the responsibility of developing future leaders very seriously. Our school leaders programme is now into its fifth year and our learning agents are taking a leadership role in curriculum planning and implementation. We were delighted that our students took part in a recent leadership development day with Team Energize and leaders from other Cambridge Schools. Our year six students had a great day, learning about what makes a great leader and the importance of strong teamwork. The students then had the opportunity to put theory into practice by planning, participating in and reflecting upon a range of challenging mental and physical activities that required excellent leadership and teamwork to ensure success. The senior students will be using these refined skills as they take increasing responsibilty at our school throughou.
